Mr. Applebaum earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Journalism and Communication from Temple University in 1964, putting himself through school working as a longshoreman on the Philadelphia docks. He earned his law degree from the prestigious Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
He also spent time studying at Cambridge University in England and earned a Masters of Taxation at New York University (NYU) in 1967. In 1968, Mr. Applebaum was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and has been working here ever since.
